Carbon Fiber
Designer Grips uses Carbon Fiber whenever color and design requirements allow. It provides superior strength as well as an attractive look. Standard Carbon Fiber is black, so in the fabrics we use, colors such as Gold, Silver, Blue, Red, Purple, and Green. are achieved by using a reflective metallic strip that is woven into the Carbon Fiber fabric. These color reflective materials are proprietary to our supplier and Designer Grips pays a premium to bring them to you. But take them out in the bright sunlight and you'll see why we refuse to skimp and use inferior materials.
Our resin is crystal clear to allow the reflective beauty of the material to shine through. And it's UV stabilized so that your grips are protected from ultra violet rays that can fade and yellow other grips.
All of our Carbon Fiber Grips are Carbon Fiber filled and Kevlar reinforced.

Kevlar
Some of the materials we use are a Kevlar or a Carbon Fiber / Kevlar weave. In these cases it is the Kevlar that is colored. We use Kevlar as needed to reinforce various stress points on our grips also.
